Objectives
- To enhance the student's knowledge of background, exegetical and theological issues in the Old Testament.
- To prepare the student for academic studies at the doctoral level.
- To increase the student's facility in research and writing.
- To increase critical thinking skills and enlarge the student's awareness of the trends and secondary literature in biblical and theological studies.
- To increase the student's ability to interpret the Bible in harmony with sound principles of biblical hermeneutics.
