Who’s Who submissions from Southern Adventist University shall be selected from the graduating seniors who show superior high academic performance as evidenced by cumulative GPA exceeding 3.35; be committed to service in church and community activities; and show evidence of positive leadership ability. The number of Southern Adventist University Who’s Who submissions to the national organization shall usually be determined as 20% of the graduating baccalaureate seniors. In no case shall the number of submissions to Who’s Who exceed 25% of the baccalaureate seniors. Names of students nominated will be reviewed by the Vice President for Student Development, University Chaplain and Associate Vice President for Academic Administration to assure that they meet the standards set out above. In the event that the number of names nominated shall exceed 25%, the Associate Vice President for Academic Administration shall appoint and call an Ad hoc committee consisting of four faculty members chosen from across disciplines plus the chaplain, the Vice President for Student Development, and the Associate Vice President for Academic Administration. This committee is responsible for reducing the number of submissions to a number that is below the 25% maximum threshold. The Associate Vice President for Academic Administration shall call the committee together. At their first meeting, they committee will select their own chair person.
