All employees of the office of Graduate & Professional Studies have an open-door policy, which means that if not in a meeting, the Graduate Dean, the Director for Graduate Admissions and Academic Progress, or the administrative assistant welcomes face-to-face meetings with students who want to bring attention to a campus problem.


In lieu of a meeting, students who have complaints about nonacademic issues should forward them in written form to Graduate & Professional Studies. Complaints are addressed by the Associate Vice President for Academic Administration/Graduate Dean or whichever entity is the appropriate one to address the issue.


In some cases, complaints will warrant a subsequent face-to-face meeting.
