Description
Manipulatives, problem-solving strategies, and evidenced-based mathematic pedagogies are used to develop a deeper understanding of the foundation of numbers, number systems, algebra, and geometry. The course will focus on the reason behind mathematical operations and its related pedagogy. Topics covered in the ACT and Praxis Core will be addressed. Required for students with Math ACT below 21 (Math RSAT below 530 or Math Praxis Core below TN Qualifying score).
