Description
Continued emphasis on development of listening and speaking skills. There is, however, an increased emphasis on reading and writing skills through the study of short selections of Spanish literature. Laboratory work is required. Students may get credit for this course by passing a "Challenge Examination" with a grade of B or better. For information on this examination, students should refer to Southern's Catalog and/or Modern Languages faculty for details.
