This course applies principles learned in RELP 551 to real-life situations such as grief recovery, addiction, abuse, depression, anxiety, conflict resolution, and other areas of intrapersonal and interpersonal challenges. Students will be trained in boundaries and how and when to refer counselees to professionals. This course is designed for those who operate in a church-based setting. It is not intended as a replacement for professional counseling training.
