Description

This course examines health issues from community, cultural, and environmental perspectives based on a Biblical foundation. It synthesizes nursing theory and public health science, emphasizing social determinants, epidemiological concepts, health promotion, health maintenance and disease prevention among populations. Experiential learning includes individual and group learning activities/projects in the community. Three hours theory and one hour clinical.
