This course focuses on concepts of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, adverse responses, and major classifications of pharmacologic agents and their prototypes, and the use of the nursing process in pharmacologic therapy across the lifespan. Major classifications of drugs are discussed using a prototype approach.
