Description
Clinical practicum that promotes competence for entry into advanced practice in health promotion/disease prevention; management of patient illness across the lifespan; nurse-patient relationships; teaching-coaching function; professional roles; managing and negotiating healthcare delivery; quality assurance; and meeting acute and chronic physical, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and developmental needs of patients and families across the lifespan. Includes a minimum of 300 hours clinical practice.
