This course is designed to equip first year students entering the university on conditional standing with the tools needed to be successful at the university. Course materials will focus on enhancing academic skills such as effective note-taking, test-taking strategies, and study skills in order to maximize learning. The course will also focus on effective time-management, career choice, developing meaningful relationships with peers and professors, and knowing about sources of assistance to resolve problems.
