This course is to be taken concurrently with MUCT 112 and, like MUCT 107, is designed to assist students in the acquisition of fundamental musical knowledge. Students will continue the study of triads, seventh chords, and their application within the tonal system, and learn the basic principles of four-part voice leading and part writing. Two class periods per week are required.
