A review course designed to help students prepare to take the Music MFT. Course content will include: (1) micro and macro analyses of complete works, movements, and/or sections; (2) written examples by the student discussing the musical examples individually and/or as a group through synthesis of original and researched observations and conclusions, applying skills in and knowledge of music history and music theory; (3) ongoing development of listening/ear training based on the music examples. The course must be taken during the semester in which the student completes the Music MFT.
