The student will write a research proposal in consultation with a principal investigator (biology professor), and a guidance committee (two additional professors). The proposal will be presented in both written and oral formats. With prior approval and continued involvement of the guidance committee, a student may accomplish these requirements as part of an off-campus research experience.
