Description

This course continues to develop the student's basic understanding and application of universal horsemanship skills. Ground instruction includes basic horse health care and maintenance. Mounted instruction in the arena and cross country focuses on correct riding position for the rider and use of aids to effectively communicate with the horse at the trot and canter. Students will also be introduced to beginning jumping techniques.
