This course focuses on the advanced practice nurse's role in promoting health across the lifespan. Emphasis is on the integration of health promotion theories, evidence-informed lifestyle concepts, patient-centered strategies, and interprofessional collaboration for assessing and promoting population health. Advanced preparedness for protecting population health during disasters and public health emergencies is addressed. The CREATION Life framework is examined as a whole-person approach for assessing and supporting patients to attain and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
