Functions and their graphs including polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic; inverse functions and their graphs; complex numbers; algebraic equations and inequalities; systems of equations; sequences and series; an introduction to trigonometric functions. Special emphasis will be given to problems and techniques that relate to calculus. This course does not apply toward a major or minor in mathematics.
