Description

This course provides students with an introduction to the renewable energy sources for electric power generation including hydro, wind, and solar. Students will investigate the contribution renewables make to the energy grid. Theory, construction, and auxiliary equipment related to renewable energy sources. Analysis of energy technology system proposals in the context of engineering, political, social, economic, and environmental goals. Three hours of lecture each week.
