The internship is designed to provide the student with 100 clock hours of management training experience in a Home and Community Based (HCBS) organization under the supervision of an experienced director. The HCBS organization must be approved by the HSSL program director. After completing this course, the student will have a deeper understanding of the regulatory requirements, administrative procedures and day-to-day operations of an HCBS organization.
