Fundamental and advanced concepts of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Mechanical Computer Aided Engineering (MCAE) with emphasis on design applications. Includes parts and assembly creation, drawing layout, geometric dimensioning, tolerancing, design definition, software prototypes, design visualization, animation and interfacing to analysis codes. Three hours of laboratory each week.
