Justification: This course will present accounting from the small business owners' perspective.

Description

This course introduces the fundamentals of financial and managerial accounting for non-business majors. Students learn how organizations record, report, and use financial information to support planning, budgeting, and operational decisions. The course includes hands-on experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks (or a similar platform) to record transactions and generate basic financial reports. Emphasis is placed on interpreting financial statements and applying accounting information. This course does not apply toward any requirement(s) for business majors.
