A course designed to teach the proper set up, adjustment and use of the oxy-acetylene torch, in performing cuts and welds on mild steel as well as brazing. Emphasis on safety practices as well as the usefulness and versatility of the torch in the mission, automotive and construction fields. Certain specialized welding processes will be taught, such as TIG, cast iron, or others to be arranged on an individual basis.
