This course examines the causes, strategies, and consequences of terrorism as a form of political violence. It will explore how non-state actors use terrorism, how states respond, and the ethical, legal, and political debates surrounding terrorism. Through theoretical readings, case studies, and simulations, students will critically engage with terrorism as a global and domestic phenomenon.
