About
The Animation Minor provides students with foundational skills in the art and technique of animation. Students will explore techniques in hand drawn and 3D animation using industry-standard tools and techniques. The minor culminates in a basic portfolio of animation work that can be used when seeking internships or entry-level positions in related fields.
Goals / Objectives / Outcomes
Develop proficiency in animation techniques, software, and storytelling.
Integrate animation concepts into students' existing majors.
Encourage creation of content reflecting Christian principles and university values.
Admission Requirements
Before taking electives, students must meet the following criteria:
Complete general education ENGL 101
Complete ART 104 - Drawing I
Complete ART 109 - 2D Foundations-Plane and Color
Complete AART 104 - Principles of Animation I
Submit a portfolio of work for review by the animation faculty.
